Gorgeous Vintage Roger Model Glazed Black Super Quality Crocodile Skin Purse with double strand black crocodile 5.5” handle drop. Dimensions are 7.5” long, 5.5” tall, and 1.5” thick. Soft black leather interior. Gold tone metal hardware, including a push-button closure (so simple looking and well functioning). Two main interior compartments separated by four wallet style slits, one for the original mirror (which is age faded, the leather frame has run into the mirror, looking very sunset-boulevard-ish) and the other slits haven’t been opened in at last 60 years. This purse from about 1950 is made in France by a famous 4 Place Vendome, Paris Handbag Maker, Roger Model. Now Louis Vuitton operates their Flagship Store there where this bag was made and sold back in 1950. Notice the choice of prime Crocodile grains that are large and even in the middle and gradually small to tiny at the edges of this Purse. Hardware is held tightly by 11 grommets. This Small Bag is fit for a movie star.
