Lovely set of 2 German relish/celery trays, serving/trinket dishes -- they would be great as wall decor too! Floral designs on both, gold accents on the purple dish These beauties are waiting for their forever home so don't delay Purple dish with gold accents measures approx.: 8.75" L x 4" W x 1.5" H Gold-ish/Yellow dish with dark purple flowers measures approx.: 9" L x 4" W x 1" H No chips or cracks, really great condition! Marks used by Steinmann carry the very peculiar addition "Silesien", a mix of he English term "Silesia" with German "Schlesien". The Steinmann factory started off in the year 1818. Around 1835 the business was taken over by Carl Rädisch, who transformed it into a decoration studio for porcelain, stoneware and glassware. Construction of a second, larger, stoneware factory commenced in 1840 and in 1868 expanded to also produce porcelain.
