Wonderful nostalgic piece by a high end jewelry designer. ** Henkle and Grosse operated in Pforzheim Germany from 1907 - 2006 (Almost 100 years) and was operated by four generations of the Grosse family. They are currently experiencing a well-deserved surge in popularity and their jewelry has become very desirable and highly collectible as of late, albeit hard to source. They were most famous for making jewelry for Christian Dior - they held a 50 year contract to produce four collections a year, beginning in 1955.
