This model is a replica of the impressive McLaren Can-Am car from the 1970 racing season as driven by American driver Dan Gurney. This was a limited production release and is #533 of only 2,304 built. Finished in Kiwi Orange, the McLaren team color, and in the 1970 season, Gurney finished 7th overall with wins at Mont Tremblant and the Six Hour/Can-Am at Watkins Glen. He also took second place at the Klondike 200 Can-Am. This model comes complete with original packing boxes and other documentation. this model has been retired by GMP and is getting difficult to find.
