    Signed by the author. 1965- Bridey Murphy was a woman from Cork, Ireland, who began speaking thru Virginia Tighe (Ruth Simmons in the book) in Pueblo, CO, in '52 when Morey Bernstein, a local businessman, hypnotized her. He encouraged past life regression of his subject. She cooperated by speaking in an Irish brogue, claiming to be a 19th century Irishwoman. He hypnotized Tighe repeatedly after that. While under hypnosis, she sang Irish songs & told Irish stories, always as Bridey Murphy. Bernstein's The Search for Bridey Murphy, became a bestseller.
