Westminster 3959 Portable 8 Track Player w/Country Tapes & Carry Case READ. Vintage Westminster 3959 Radio-Tape Player is portable. Can be run on batteries or it has an electrical cord that can be used. Unit turns on when plugged in (electrical cord) and I can tune FM radio station. Lots of buzzing and feedback. When I first got it, it was playing the 8-track tapes as well but it has set for awhile and now something is not working. I also couldn't get it to play on just batteries but that might be my batteries are too weak. All in all, it's going to need some work. Included is a nice 24 tape carry/storage case with 22 tapes. Most of them are older country singers including Elvis, Hank Williams, Conway Twitty, and Johnny Cash. I haven't tested all of the tapes (player stopped working) but I did try several that worked. Great lot for someone who wants a retro/vintage project! Please see pictures.
