This is a vintage U.S. Army Green Metal Storage Box that holds 47 Field Radio Frequency Crystals. When full, the box holds 48. This was an estate sale find so exact age & other info isn’t known. These frequency crystals were used in Military Field Radios for communication during WW II, Korea & Vietnam. There are 3 different types of crystals in this box. 37 are marked John Meck, 9 are marked Valpey & one is marked RS MC. The crystals are of many different frequencies. None have been tested for functionality. The green metal box is in pretty good shape. It has wear evident but no major cosmetic flaws. It is stamped CY-277/TRC-10 in black in traditional Army font on the top. This would make a very cool & unique addition to any Military Collection.
