A beautiful and classic 100% wool Hudson's Bay Point Blanket in red (scarlet) with black stripes. Circa 1940s-50s. This is a four point blanket, denoted by the four shorter black lines woven into the wool in one corner. "Points" were created to easily identify the size of a blanket. 88.5 x 68 With white 3.25" x 3" label and orange writing, which reads "Hudson's Bay Point Blanket" with circular company logo, "100% wool," "Made in England," and registration numbers 220747 (U.S.) and 19576 (Canada). This heirloom piece will keep you warm... all wool, it weighs about five pounds. Use it on your bed, camper, cabin, around the fire, for a picnic. Would be excellent in a mountain or ski home. This vintage blanket is in very good condition for its age. 2 small holes, won't affect blanket or can be easily patched. See pictures
