Antique Larter & Sons pair of Art Deco iridescent mother of pearl/ abalone rolled gold round double sided chain link cufflinks. From the 1930's. The cufflinks have a smooth silver tone border with a polished piece of iridescent mother of pearl. There is a very small inset seed gray pearl in the middle. It is 1/8" diameter. The back of the cufflinks are a shiny gold tone. .5" Diameter 1/2" in diameter and 1/8" inch thick. The space between the panels is 3/4". The cufflinks are in very good preowned antique condition. The connector bar on each cufflink is signed Rolled Gold Plate and a picture of a shirt stud, the makers mark for Larter & Sons. Rolled gold which is also known as gold-filled or gold filled is a material that has 1/20th of pure 14 kt gold content by weight.
