The colors on this Billbergia are just stunning. Red, purple, white, and green colored long tubular shaped leaves really stand out on this plant. Expose this to direct sunlight to bring out the deeper shades. Last picture shows the blooms it will produce. Super easy to care for, keep center cup full of water. These will produce numerous offsets. This plant has produced a large offset. Does well indoors, but will need a sonewhat sunny area. Can reach a height of about 18”. I had this planted directly in ground. Soil in Florida is very sandy, therefore it will need a fast draining soil. If potted be sure to use a pot that has drainage holes. Do not allow to stand in water. Do not ship plants in pots. I find it is easier on the plant as well as saves money on shipping costs.
