D E T A I L S: * Will arrive gift boxed * All jewelry is hand cleaned and polished This is a rare and stunning sterling silver Taxco made vintage mask pendant. All silver toned elements are sterling silver. The back is marked with TS-135, Mexico and 925. The green stone settled inside of the heart above the mask is made of malachite stone. The honey gold colored face and pieces at the bottom dangling are Amber. It is a hard, translucent, fossilized resin that comes from ancient trees and is used to make decorative items like jewelry and carving. It is considered fossilized tree resin that's an organic gem, it's formed via Resin from pine and fir trees hardens over time. It sometimes even has trapped bugs which is so cool! This piece has the maker's mark from Taxco, Mexico where this was made in the 1950's. I have never seen this exact one before, only very similar ones with some small deviations from the design above. I have LOTS of other Taxco pieces available as well.
