This piece is in very good condition, no chips, no cracks, no stains! The glaze on this piece is brown which was very popular in pottery art made in the 1960s and 70s, this glaze gives an aged/rustic appearance. The brown variation on the face and speckling effect on other areas are common with this style glaze. The exact age and origin of this piece is unknown and there are no visible artist markings. The hanging cord is made from an unknown natural fiber, is not faded and has plenty of length for hanging, however the cording does shed when handled, buyer should use caution when hanging this beautiful piece as the cording has not been previously utilized for hanging as this was a shelf display piece. This is a VERY RARE find that is the ultimate addition to any bell collection! Don't let this one get away, these precious bells don't come up for sale very often, especially in this condition!
