ALCO RSD-4/5 PHASE I locomotive custom painted for PRR (Pennsylvania Railroad) RSD-5 No. 8449. The model was built by Samhongsa and imported by ALCO Models; the engine is in beautiful condition. It looks complete. It has kadees and jewels installed. There is no cab interior or window glazing. The fan blades on the long hood turned when I blew a little air on them. The box is in very good condition. The loco was display only and the wheels show only signs of this display. See photos. If you need more pictures, let me know. A little history of the prototype, the PRR ordered six RSD-5s in Nov. 1951, order No. 20785, and two were delivered in Oct. 1952 with the other four delayed by a strike at Alco and were delivered in March 1953. Initially, all six were assigned to Baltimore and Wilmington heavy yard service. Good luck bidding. Thanks for looking.
