This Amelia Earhart vanity train case is made of sturdy leather in dark camel accented with multi-colored stripe design & stitching. Has two front latches & locking mechanisms in silver tone & “Amelia Earhart” name plate attached. Sturdy camel top handle held on by silver tone hardware. Long antique back hinges hold lid & brass pegs on bottom for protection. Interior lined in sweet blue & peach stripe fabric with triangular shaped gathered pocket & velvet elasticized holders on sides. Bottom fabric protected by plastic insert. Lid mirror held on by dainty gathered fabric holder & yellow plastic tray fits perfectly on top. Dimensions 13 3/4”L, 8 1/4”W, 9 1/2”H, 7 1/2”D. From the 1950’s-1960’s & in wonderful vintage condition. Few markings & scuffs on exterior, no dents. Few marks on interior, no rips, holes, odors. Mirror faint cloudiness, no cracks or chips. Small chip on tray, still functional. Bottom peg missing, still stable. See photos. Beautiful vintage & rare Amelia Earhart case.
